So these really are a bit special.

We offer two items as limited editions. The star based tankard and a glass free-standing plaque.

What is a limited edition? Well in this case it's a line drawing of one of many "Heroes of the Track" which have been recreated and represent one of the most popular riders from today , or possibly yesterday. This is then etched onto the chosen glassware.

 

Now how limited are they? Well we are doing just 50 of each item and then the drawing which we base the design on will go. No more will be produced of that design.

Each one sold will have a certificate with it showing when it was etched and what number the item was.

Once the fifty are sold, we'll create another picture of a different rider and then that will be the new offering.

In the future other limited edition series may become available. (If time permits us to do the drawings in the first place!!!)

The first of our "Heroes of the Track" limited editions.

As the page paragraph states, these are going to be limited to just 50 of each design and then that will be gone and a new one appear.

The desk plaque is a fantastic item. Solid glass, weighing in at just on 1Kg, the face is cut as a faceted octet, giving it an interesting  edge.

Rather than just clear glass this item is classed as "Jade" and as such has a gentle green tint within the facets,  making it a real eyecatching item.

The plaque is approx 6" in width and height (excluding the base.)

It stands on an integrated glass plinth, which itself is etched with the riders name.

The plaque comes presented in its own sturdy box with black satin interior.

As for the etching itself, the level of detail is amazing, there are some sites selling etched pictures of riders but unless they wrote it on the glassware who they were - they could be any one of 20 riders.

Make no mistake, the level of detail we have managed to recreate leaves no doubt as to who is represented. (Click on the picture for a closer look!)

They are truly fantastic pieces, and as they're guaranteed limited edition  a truly unique collectable.

So this is the alternative Limited Edition item.

Etched on one of our high quality star based tankards the image, while slightly smaller is still just as detailed as the larger plaque.

The master at work on his Yamaha, the detailing just as distinct, logo's, knee sliders etc all clearly visible.

The tankard comes in a presentation box as standard along with a small certificate confirming the number of the item and the date we produce it.  (We only etch these to order).

A real collectable item and sure to be appreciated by all those "Doctor" fans and anyone else who is into the world of knee down adrenalin!
